Track 15 - Ch. 4
In the beginning of this section, Katness talked a lot about Mockingjays and how it related to her father. I would also do that is my dad died and had a special bond with them. I thought that the part when Katness goes over the T.V. recordings more boring then they really are. But when Hamich comes in, it was kind of funny but disappointing. He is their mentor and suppose to be a good example for them. I do think that he will change though. it will probably strike him that these kids could die just like that then teach them his strategies. Next time i read, i will journal on the whole chapter.

Hunger Games week 2 #2
Ch. 4-5
It was really gross when she describes the smell of the vomit and the actions of Hamich. I don't think Peeta would wash him off to be a favorite. i just think he was trying to be kind of brave and 'manly'. Not to make the wrong expression. When Katness really does find out that Peeta was just being kind to her and throws the Baker's cookies out the window, I feel really bad for her. It was really cool how she knew how to look for food in the woods, where she might be in the games. Some other kids could pick the wrong plants, and die.I predict that Katness will not kill Peeta in the games and instead join with him.

Hunger Games Week 1 #3
Track 10-15
When Peeta and Katness first met, it wasn't really a meeting. It was more like a "Feeling sorry for you" moment to do something good. I don't think Katness will bring it up when encountering him, because it was sort-of awkward. There were more ways of people feeling sorry for her. like when people gave her cookies and presents before she left for the games. The strategy she had was very smart. Not crying to make her look tougher on T.V. so she won't get killed. But (If it even was a strategy) Peeta's was very good also. If he pretends to be week, but comes out a warrior, it will bring him great success. I think that the challengers should get at least a day to stay with their family and prepare for the games. But on the other hand, people may escape to try to get out of it. I think that Gayle wanted to tell Katness that he sort of liked her before she left, maybe never to return. Next time i read i will try to get less distracted in other things.

Hunger Games Week 1 #2
Track 6-10
I found out that on Reaping day, the all 12 districts choose one boy and one girl from each district and having them fight against each other. The winning person's district gets showered with gifts and food. I couldn't believe that Prim's name got picked for the Hunger Games. She only put 1 slip of paper out of thousands of people. I totally suspected that Katness would get chosen. I would have done the exact same thing that Katness did if my brother got picked into a death trap... volunteer my self. When she goes into the flashback, her situation feels worse than ever. When her dad dies and when her mom has no job there's practically nothing to do to survive! And how there are people laying dead in the streets because they dies of starvation is unacceptable. it was a very hard time.

Hunger Games Week 1 #1
Track 1-6
As I started reading Hunger Games, I found that their lives are hery horrible. especially that people have to sneak out to get a fair amount of food. I wonder how the government system got to the way it is in the book. Even though it takes place in the future, it feels so primitive. I am still a little confused on what Reaping Day is. At first it sounded like a time when they kill people because of the word reaping, but some people actually want to get chosen. Is this the time when kids join into the hunger games? Or is it a time when people get a chance to search for more food? Why does the author write this book in 3rd person? I think it would make much more sense and describe more in detail the state of the country.

Found Journal Entry #12
Pg. 160-180
In this section of Found i read about Angela DuPree telling Chip and Jonah that they went back in time and turned into babies. Then, when they were discussing it, 2 men came into the room, so Chip, Jonah, and Katerine jumped out of the window, but Jonah turned back to save Angela. I really enjoyed reading this chapter because there hasn't been much action so far. If i were Jonah, i wouldn't have jumped out, i would help Angela because she knows the most about what happened on the plane. I don't know why those men came in though. And why would one of then want to save Jonah? Does the other one wants to kidnap him? i predict that when Jonah goes back to save Angela, the man will disappear with Angela like he did the last time.

Found Journal Entry #11
Pg. 140-160
In Found, I'm at the part where Chip, Jonah, and Katherine meet Angela DuPree at the library. They were making up some of the scariest scenarios and tried to act like spies. I made at ext-to-self connection when i read that part because when i was little, me and my cousin used to pretend to be spies. We did almost the same thing, but not risking out lives! She wrote a letter to them with girls' handwriting, but i still would be doubtful in going. Partly because i haven't met the lady, and other because it's kin of creepy getting a hand-written letter in the mail. No body really sends out hand-written mail anymore. I find it creepy that Angela was there one hour early just to scope out the Conference room. I'm kind of confused on the ending line where Angela said she knows 'when' Chip is from. I can't wait until the next time i read!
